Alternative O&M (operations and maintenance) are guidelines used to define requirements set by the Virginia Department of Health to ensure your Alternative Onsite Septic System (AOSS) is functioning properly.
Alternative O&M is like having your vehicle inspected every year. Alternative systems have mechanical components that require maintenance, failed components can cause issues in your system, home, or environment.
The Operation and Maintenance requirements vary on what AOSS is installed on your property.
Only a licensed Alternative Operator can provide maintenance on these systems. At All In Septic Services, we are fully licensed with the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Occupational Regulation.
